General says, Thank you.  Along with the extra milkbone he got an extra special gift.  Since General is an associate Hog member I had his name and birth date engraved on his Hog challange coin.

Ya gotta love a thread that has been hijacked so many times no one knows where it could go next.

Welcome from the deep jungle and onto the net, my brother!  Sounds like you have read through the gobbeldy-gook and come up to speed on the 2011 adventure.  You should book your return through town here?  Southwest flies to MSP from here now!

Freedom. It seems to frighten a lot of people, but I am sold on it.

Hey Nighthawk and Fireball,

Like you vets I, too, am gray, a Vietnam vet with two tours (1962-65), but not so old.  I'll be turning another decade next month on Groundhog Day.  I'll be 70 years young.  I refuse to grow up.  I've been acused of acting like a kid.  What's life if you don't have fun.
I ride a red 2005 Road Glide with a license plate that reads, "UHRAH" and a black 2007 Fat Boy.  When I can no longer ride a two wheeler I will revert back to riding a trike, just like I did as a very young kid before learning to ride a bike.  See ya'll in RC.

Semper Fi,

Okay... another question. Does the Run stop in Tuscaloosa every year? I was stationed in Montgomery, Alabama for six years at Maxwell AFB and I have a very, very dear friend (my mom away from mom) there. If we do go to 'Bama, I'm hoping she can motor out to Tuscaloosa. When stationed at Max, I did the annual "Valentines for Vets" thing from base. We'd take balloons and cards out to Tuscaloosa for the Vets at the home. It was awesome!

At Chauffeur's insistance, I am posting a request for a ride from DC to Arkansas leaving on Tuesday. I have a ride with Terminator leaving on Sunday, but I would like to stay for all of the ceremonies, parade and concert. I promise I don't bite, only nibble. Tongue
