I heard from Chell (Stonewall) Phelan, she said she can't make it! She's going to DC that weekend. They are placing the marker on Rogers grave.

ALL TEXARKANA RIDERS ............

After checking out the convenient motels in Texarkana I narrowed it down to Motel 6 and La Quinta.  The reviews of Motel 6 were NOT good.  Sorry, I'll do cheap, but not dirty. So, here are the details......

La Quinta is on the Texas side...$62.00 a night for 2 standard beds...67.00 for king size bed...(no queens)...outdoor pool area where we can sit, visit and comsume adult beverages....they do have smoking rooms...(Motel 6 doesn't) ....... and the usual hotel breakfast in the AM...the address is:
5201 State Line Ave, Texarkana Texas 75503.  Phone is:  903-794-1900.  Good room availibility for the 24th.

Directions:  Take exit 223A then turn South.  Go to the next light and turn right.  La Quinta is on the south side of I-30.  Going East ( that's toward Washington, DC ) you’ll see the hotel after you take exit 223A.

We can all meet at the La Quinta.  Then anyone who wants to ( or needs to ) can visit DOOLINS Harley Davidson at exit 220A.  ( I am sure at least one Harley Davidson will need to be fixed. )

I sincerely hope this meets with everyone's approval !!  If it doesn't ...........

GET OVER IT !!!!!!

Sir Dutch
