I ordered 2 types of Aussie/USA flag stickers and will bring some with me to Tulsa, to pass out to the 3rd Platoon first, then to anyone who wants them.  You can also order almost any kind of sticker from this store(he is a vet) and he will make almost any style sticker also...    Here is a link to his store:   http://www.veteranstickers.com/
I have sent around 20 down to Frankie to pass out to our M8's down under.  He is a really nice guy and will do about anything for ya.

Here is the link to where the stickers shown below are at :   http://www.veteranstickers.com/Miscellaneous-Stickers_c_55.html   at the bottom of the page...
I plan on him making these type for the 25th..... 2013 !!But better ,,,,
There are 2 types to order. Normally for us the US flag is on the right :

                              This is the Aussie version

                            This is the US Version

The owner of www.veteranstickers.com is a Vietnam vet who earned (awarded) a Purple Heart while WIA serving with the 9th Infantry Division. Virgil has also participated (ATW) with RFTW-CR the past 3 years. He was my FNG in 2010. We are planning on going SR in 2013. Thru his website you can purchase (credit card or Paypal) just about any military sticker imaginable. If it's not on his website, contact him directly and he'll create it. His business is located in Huntington Beach CA.

OZ, my mistake; 2010 he went as far as Angel Fire. 2011 & 2012 he went ATW. We generally run outside of the main pack. Email me if you'd like his phone number (if you don't already have it).

OZ, I think you may have the labels backward on the two stickers.  I believe when we have two crossed flags in the US, Old Glory is on its own right.  That would put it to the left as you view it.

And I don't know Aussie flag protocol but if they have similar rules then for an Aussie they would have their flag on its own right too.

Also I believe it is customary to have the staff of the flag with precedent forward.

THank you for working these up, you dont need to change anything, just switch the labels.  The first one is Aussie and the second is US.  Don't worry about the staff.  Thank you again!

OZ....I haven't received a Single emial from you....unless you are sending under the radar & I didn't recognize you. Try me again or give me a shout. I will be gone next few weeks as I am showing a couple bike's at Hot August Nights (Reno) then rolling over to Bonneville Salt Flats to watch World Land Speed Record attempts. Gads what a couple weeks.

BTW....You can have my Job when I've had enough of this Grrrreat trek, though not thinking it will be anytime soon. Hope you can get attached to a platoon, 'cause you have proved you are good at what you do.

Not to belabor the issues but found this at Mistupid.com on flag protocals.

"The flag of the United States of America, when it is displayed with another flag against a wall from crossed staffs, should be on the right, the flag's own right, and its staff should be in front of the staff of the other flag."

I ordered several of these stickers, some for Aussie friends and several for US friends. This soldier is outstanding to deal with - he is a great American and all should check out his web site.

I spent some Time up in Denver with Dale and Karry after the run. I would be proud to put the stickers on my bike.

Glad to hear you visited with Dale and Karry. We stopped in, too and Dale was in good spirits but obviously worried about his mate. Sounds like things have improved since then but we continue to pray for them. About to buy raffle tickets to help them out. The stickers I got for my bike are outstanding quality - they stick on anything and are easy to remove. Don't know the process but they work and look good. He has lots of USMC stickers several of units I served in as an added attraction to the Run stickers.

Semper Fi,
