Well then, since day one is now on my Birthday this year, I decree that the weather will be good.  Do I have a second to the decree?Party

She Wolf, people are gonna get the idea you're excited. I know you've been trying to hold it in but I believe it's beginning to leak out a little.

I remember the year 1998; it POURED, and we left from the Queen Mary. You couldn't see more than a few feet. If that NEVER happens again it will be way too soon. I'll take the snow at Williams (but they need that patch to be big enough to cover you completely

Why do I get a rash every time someone talks about the snCensored?  Ok, I just looked at the forecast for the first three days of the run.  No SnCensored in the forecast.  It will be near freezing in Eagle Nest for the morning but no SnCensored.  Leaving my chains at home.

Very good point Harley0711.  I have not seen anyone talk about the thermal vests.  It saved me on my ride back to Cali last year.  The vest works great.

Do many riders on the SR use the cooling vests after AZ/West Texas? I would think it gets at least managable cooler after Midland/Odessa at least normally.....????

Just looking at the extended forecast the SR  should have great traveling from Odessa to Monroe, mid 90's during the day and 65's at night.  Ride safe.  As they say in the Navy "Fair winds and following seas" See y'all here in odessa

Aren't the laws of physics great.  Cooling vests do work.  They work better here in Death Valley.  It's a dry heat.  Heading to Rancho tomorrow.  I will not need a cooling vest tomorrow but on my way back from DC going through the Mojave desert in June can be toasty.  Only 113 now.
