I will be leaving Leesburg, Fl. on Tuesday morning May 8th for Rancho.  Is anybody riding from Florida that I can hook up with or that I can meet up with along the way?  If so then please give me your contact information(phone no. or regular email).

Hey, Derrall!  Good to see you made a post here!  Welcome to the ride and the Fam!

Check the forum for Cowboy's Desert Riders, the major group that comes across your route heading for California.  I have posted some of the basic info on that thread, and bumped it for you so you can read their plans.  Looks like it might give you a nice way to meet some folks and practice for the Main Ride.

There is a rider named Nighttrain that lives in the Jackson, MS area. He rides out with us in the DDD / CDR group. He will probably check in here in a day or two. Maybe you can make contact and ride to Texas together.

Pantyheadred. With a monicker like that you'll fit in fine with the DDD/CDR group. Join them in Miss or Wheatherford Tx. Great group of folks then the classyness drops when they get to Colorado City TX. Thats where I join up and put a kink in the works but they let me ride in the back..............way back!!

Toothless,

I keep trying to reform you but you won't cooperate!

Anyway, back to the subject at hand....We would be glad to have you join us on our way west.  We have a number of riders and it helps get us in the habit of group riding, as well as giving us a chance to visit and catch up, AND most important, welcome the FNGs to our family.  Looking forward to meeting you
Wing1800man and welcome home.

Sparky, SSIGS

Until they all come home.

Yo, Derrall!

A moniker is usually a name given out there in the general public (Remember Slick Willy?) whereas among bikers I usually hear "roadname" or "handle."

All of which in not important.  But when they gather around the campfire late at night and the subject comes up, people will want to know.

The chatter will fall silent when they hear the query, "Did I ever tell you how I got the name "PantyheadRed?"

I do want to be at that campfire...!

SideWalk.........If PantyheadRed is convinced to tell the story at dinner in La Posta,  and I am sure some of the Ladies will weasel it out of him. I promise I will have him retell the story in RC CA, or some upstanding member of the DDD/CDR will inform one an all the story behind the name.

LOL, well bunch of biker friends of mine gave me that name years ago as when we were at an event most wore Do-Rags Banadanas ETC. Me I wore panties as hat they were new ones to,LOL with tag hanging on them as Monnie Pearl did her hats. The kids loved it and I have given a few away to ladies. Damn thing is now you can't find any to buy. I use to get the bakinie type with Harley or biker logos on them but heck youcan't find them any more. Now there like boy shorts. asked a vendor one time if they had any and they said no as tehy couldn't sell them as woman don't wear them anymore, whats the world coming to, LOL

Hello Cowboy rode with you in 2006 and 2010 and hope to see you there. Have ordered a patvh with the name but may not get it out on before I leave as I will be over seas. Where are the groupe planning to bed down there in Las Cracas, NM. Looks like about 680 mile ride that day from Weatherford is that correct
