6th Annual RFTW BBQ Fundraiser

Saturday, April 14, 2012; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Raytheon Company

2000 East El Segundo Blvd.

El Segundo,CA

Enter at El Segundo Blvd. Gate (at Continental Blvd.)

You must show driver’s license ID to enter property.

Raytheon is a huge supporter of veterans and of RFTW. This is the sixth year they are providing a RFTW BBQ to help raise funds for us. Please attend if you’re able to, and urge any FNGs you know to attend.

Entry fee is $10, which includes lunch and raffle ticket. There will be food, vendors, music, raffles, and a 50-50 drawing.

All proceeds from this event are donated to RFTW.

Please RSVP with the number in your party to Danny Lopresto  (310.647.2009 or dlopresto@raytheon.com) so they will know how much food to set up.

Never forget!

There was no date, but I would RSVP by April 6 to give them enough time to order enough food.

Wow, this one fell back to page 9! Lots of traffic as we get close to the launch.

A week from Saturday on the 14th, the Raytheon company will open it's gates to the annual RFTW fundraiser.

For anyone living in the San Diego region who wants to ride up in a group, we got one. Sidewalk, Perc, Duane, Fallout and her as yet unmet boyfriend, Paul and Maria from Sun City, anybody else?? We'll be going up the 15 to the 91 and west from there.

Let me know and we'll pick you up enroute.

Sidewalk
Freedom. It seems to frighten a lot of people, but I am sold on it.

Ok for all those wondering he is not an imaginary boyfriend (Snuffleupagus) I swear he is real.  Top Sarge, Skeater & Wish all meet him in Riverside last weekend. Big smile
See you on the morning of the 14th Sidewalk!

Well......there could be.  What do you need??

Actually there are vendors who come and set up for a variety of products and services.  Danny Lopresto will know if there is any official RFTW merchandise on site.

I was hoping we could get the big Run for The Wall rocker patch so we can get then sewn on before the run.  If not we will just wait until RC.

You should order that from Merchandise now so you can have it sewn on before the Run.

It is only on the website with the large center patch combo.  We already have center patches so we just want to buy the rocker to go above.

Lots of people just get the top rocker, they have other center patches.  They must still sell the rockers, I have 2- one for my Straggler vest and one for my custom camo RFTW vest.

Make the call...

I'll bring the RFTA (Run For Them All) patches, with 2011 rockers (I don't have the 2012 ones yet...they'll be in Rancho) RFTA patch $10.00, RFTA year rocker-$10.00 *** All proceeds go to the RFTA grants that aid new returning vets and current military to afford to make this ride. Last year we had 4 RFTA grant recipients we hope for at least that many this year.Look for "WISH" at the BBQ if you want to help fund this effort.

We are coming up the I-15 to pick up members of our group, then going west on the 91.  Let me know if this is anywhere near you and we'll find each other!

Is this event rain or shine like the ride (I hope so I have been looking forward to this a couple of months Thumbs Up)?
I just looked up the weather forecast and we might get a little wet on the way up but supposed to clear out by noon.

Rain gear from home to coffee in Elsinore, then I think we'll be clear.  Or wet, whatever...
