You know you're an FNG when: On first Run in 97, I had that Little Green Jeep. And As I came around the 270 degree on ramp at the 10 & 15 freeway near Millikan; as I hit the straightaway I wondered what the noise was??? I was so amped up, I was doing about 8000RPM in first gear. That Little green Jeep was almost history, before it became history.

Guess that makes me a FNG. And by the way what does that mean?  My son and I will be meeting up with you all in Grand Prairie. Can't wait, think I am ready to roll. Trying to pack as light as possible. Thanks for already making me feel a part of the family, and God bless.Big smile

Censored New Gal here! Apparently it makes us really special this year Heart.  I do keep wondering if we are given the bright color button so that the Road Guards can zero in on us Thumbs Up I keep hearing everyone wants to be an FNG again.  Tongue

You know your an FNG when you

1. Keep checking your list (that you printed from the newsletter) and wonder how in the heck your going to get 1/2 that stuff on your bike.

2. When at first you hear about people sending dirty clothes home and buying on the way sounded crazy and know you think they are the smartest people in the world.  LOL

3.  When you cant figure out if you are more scared then excited.

4.  When you keep looking at the clock on the front page and watching the seconds tick away.

5.  When you are hound dogging the CDR thread watching for them to leave so you know you can start to get really excited.

6.  When you thank God every night for putting this path in front of you to walk with these amazing people.

Proud daughter of USMC Vietnam Vet
The words thank you will never express how this civilian feels for you and your sacrifice you made for me and our Country. But THANK YOU!

Best part of being an FNG.

When you are part of the way into your first day and realize the actual "mission" experience is nothing that was (or can be) described on the forum....

Welcome all, you are in for an experience you will never forget!  Welcome Home!

Well said all.  One of the great honors of being and FNG is the opportunity to take your bike to Arlington Cemetery.  Still a very emotional memory for me.
