When are you leaving home?
Pooh and I are leaving Memphis 5/9, RON in Texarkana, 5/10 to Gunners for Bar-B-Q, then pick up DDD/CDR in Weatherford, 5/11.
If this fits your schedule we would be pleased to have you with us. If not, hope to see you on the way. We'll be in Rancho 5/13.

Speedy - well, I'd been thinking the 8th, but am probably going to move it up to the 7th. Will keep that in mind. Can't wait to see you guys!
 I'd been thinking no matter when I left, I might try for Gunner's BBQ, but need to see how a couple things pan out in the next week or so.

 Last I knew (as of early February or so), HB should already be heading west - was supposed to leave his bike in SD, go to Hawaii to visit his son, then come back in time for the Run. He'll be on SR, so you all will see him.

ok see yall need lil clarity heya, Ill be tear, baring gettin lost in wylie, tis been a spell since I ran EMS up yonder from the big D and I heya that tings chngd d bit....  tus yall noenglish for non southern- to clarify I have every intention of being there for the bbq, however it has been lots of years since I ran EMS with East Texas up there as a medic so with all the changes might have a little navigation problem...

OK folks, times gettin short, who's ridin to Gunner's and are we going to join up along I-30 like we did last year.
I'll be leaving Quality Inn, 5210 N. StateLine Ave. Texarkana, AR at 0800. Any one wanting to join up, there, let me know, I'll be lookin for ya.
Plan on stopping at Pilot Travel Center, 1200 S. Hillcrest, Sulphur Springs, about 1000, then on to Gunners. Hope to see some of ya there!!!

Speedy, you are coming from the east so I will not join in sulpher springs...lol notsure were on 30 yall met last year but if you can give me mile marker or exit I can tag up with yall there,..... will save gettin lost by my self...lol If I remember right I have to cross lake ray hubber from the west to get there...think sulpher springs is just alil bit of an over shoot and a turn around point

Nighttrain - definitely planning for Gunner's now. As for Fri/Sat, I will probably be a little ahead of everybody - have some family in Sierra Vista I need to see (may make it a longer day & try to overnight there), and then I'm planning on overnighting with my bro in the Phoenix area for a night.
Also, I'll only be traveling along the same route/in the general vicinity of the group, as I'm bringing my truck to be a support vehicle.
Mostly just planning to hit a few of the same stops just to see everybody. If I'm ahead of y'all on Sunday, will make sure I come out to welcome you in! |
