Restroom Stops

Actually you signal the riders around you that you need to drop out, pull out of formation safely (beware of the Road Guards, or LEO that may be escorting) and proceed to do what is needed.

Catch up to the pack after your done and follow the last man vehicle to the next stop.  Then simply rejoin your platoon when everyone is refueling or staging.

Actually lots of folks will have good advice on tips and tricks on the run.

Hotels usually have washing machines - most folks bring soap powder and change.  Some times there's a bit of a wait.

Walmart laundry is always an option -- that is where you bring old shirts, underwear and socks, throw them away and get some new ones on the road.  (been there, done that)

One of the best tips received was to get a set of cool underwear and quick dry shirts.  Did that last year and washed them out in the sink with a little bit of shampoo at each stop.  Shirt and underwear dried out overnight, really helped reduce the items I had to pack. 

Only time I did laundry last year was at the Super 8 @ Corydon -- washing machines were broken so the hotel staff did all the lodgers laundry for free as a way to show support.  (Year before, used a laundry mat in town at that same stop.)

Walmart laundry option works...lol... especially if you are a girl... still have to start with 2 complete sets....though lol...anyways... who doesnt like new clothes along the way...

If you don't want to carry a lot on the bike you can ship clothing to the FedEx store across from the Hotels in RC and send what you carried to RC back home and don't have to do laundry.  Pick up what you need in between from the merchandise trailer and WallyWorld. Do the same thing for DC at the Fed EX store right next to the Westin hotel and you don't have to throw anything away. 

To back up what Speedy said, I also am a prostate cancer survivor who had my prostate removed. It is something that I have to think about and plan for but the ride did not cause any additional problems for me. I can wait that long. You can't "not" drink though. You have to stay hydrated. My buddy who has no prostate problems had to bail off at a road side stop to pee. Not a problem. He caught the pack by the time they got to the next stop.
