Hi to my American Comrades.
I am the Vice Pres of the Sydney Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans MC(Australia).
A number of our club members are saving our bucks to join you in this mighty tradition across your great country in 2011.
We are keen to get as much info as possible to make the journey more enjoyable for ourselves and those of us who are bringing "our long suffering wives "ect.
Would be handy to have a couple of contacts to advise us on route and protocols in general .

Scotty...........Welcome Brother....... Are you planning on coming over for The Run, or just a trip. We have a Brother in over there in Queensland Bob that has made the trip a few times.

Yeah,the plan is to join you on the Run.
I know of a few brothers that have made the trip for the Run and Thunder and we are gaining info as we go along.
The Club is at the stage of costing the trip and I would appreciate some input as we go through the process.

Cain't really say welcome home but can say welcome to one of the best families you could ever be involved with. I saw in the post that Cowboy has alresdy posted . Not only is he a great guy but can and will answer any questions you might need answered. The thing is if he doesn't know the answer he will contact someone that does and get the right skinny for you.
Hope you and your folks get to make the adventure, because it is just that, an adventure you will never for get. I am always proud to see the Aussi flag as well as the Canadian flown in our ranks.Really hope to get to meet your mates and shelas in 2012. Had to brag on Cowboy a little cause he is a fellow Texan. |

thanks for the response. We have had a few meeting already regarding the trip and the boys(and gals) are pretty excited. At our age,this is a very important and special thing to do--to again be part of the bond created by many across the divide and a bond that cannot be broken
