Ladies and Gentlemen I am not sure if you have heard about this on the news, some of you in the Texas Area may have please read this article http://www.myfoxdfw.com/dpp/news/042111-friends:-golfer-killed-for-wandering-dog and you will know why I am doing what I am doing. This man was a retired Air Force Major and because of the ridiculous way he Died I have taken it upon myself to contact the Local news so that I may get a Picture of Mr Smith so that to Honor him and his family on our ride to the Wall. Men like  him are the reason we have the freedoms we have so why not Honor him and his Family with this small gesture of thoughtfulness. That News team now wants to do a story with me about my intentions.... just so you know I had told them I was not looking for publicity... but they thought it would be a good story so I conceded and said ok...

P.S. I am doing this under my Circuit Riders Banner so that it is understood that I am not affiliated with RTFW other than being a registered Rider, that way it keeps them clear of any responsibilities and it all lies on me. that is unless they Authorize me to say different.

Thanks for reading

Thank you for stepping in to help this family. A senseless act indeed for killing a man because his dog walked on some property.

Update on this mission:

I spoke with the Channel Ten News Team Reporter Jen French today and she got permission from the Denison Country Club to conduct her Interview with me there at the course where AF Major Shelman Smith was Shot. She then gave me the phone number to the course and advised me that they wanted to speak with me, When I phoned I was speaking to the Pro Shop attendant who as it turns out was a really good friend of Major Smith's and was thankful in what I was doing, he is trying to find out more about the Major for me and is also going to contact Mrs Smith who also is a Retired AF Captain and is letting her know of my intentions and possibly will be there for the meet and greet along with the friends that were golfing with Major Smith the day he was shot. I will update more after the interview this Saturday.
